Challenge
Z Energy, one of New Zealand’s largest energy providers, is committed to decarbonisation and achieving ambitious 2030 emissions reduction goals. To support this vision, AKQA Aotearoa developed speculative narratives exploring diverse future scenarios, highlighting behavioural, technological, and societal changes. These narratives immersed Z Energy’s teams in possible futures, providing valuable insights to inform strategic decisions and align efforts across the organisation.
Impact
I contributed by defining the visual design direction and developing a low-fi website in Webflow for maximum impact with minimal development effort. Collaborating directly with stakeholders, I created storytelling assets that enhanced the experience, ensuring a seamless integration of the speculative narratives with the platform’s design.
